Enable Active Advertising for a WIOC

Enabling Active Advertising causes the server to poll the wireless network looking for new or unreachable devices to join the network. You must have the key to the Wireless Provisioning Lock to set the Active Advertising period.

  1. Right-click a WIOC under the Wireless I/O Network.
  2. Select Enable Active Advertising... on the context menu.
  3. In the dialog that appears, enter the amount of time that active advertising runs.
  4. Click OK.
