Remote I/O nodes

Note:

I/O Network must be enabled as a System Preference for the I/O Network to be visible under the Control Network in the DeltaV Explorer hierarchy.

The DeltaV system supports Remote I/O Nodes under the I/O Network. Remote I/O Nodes are installed in Zones 1 and 2 and bring I/O from cards installed in these locations into the DeltaV system. Remote I/O Nodes perform no control and have no assigned modules. I/O cards are added to the I/O Network under Remote I/O Nodes and then assigned to a DeltaV controller.
