Create a named set

  1. Navigate to Setup (System Configuration/Setup
  2. Right-click Named Sets.
  3. Click New Named Set.
  4. Rename NamedSet1 to a new name. Named sets are case-sensitive. They may be defined using uppercase or lowercase letters, but all future references to the state must be as originally defined.
  5. Double-click the new named set, or right-click, and then select Properties
  6. Add a description in the Description field.
  7. Click Add to open the Add State dialog.
  8. Type the name of the first state and click OK.
  9. Select a specific value for the state, if desired.
  10. Repeat steps 7 through 9 for each named state you want to add.
    Note:
    You can create a maximum of 255 states in a named set.
  11. Click Close to save the set and close the dialog.
    Note:
    You can also create named sets automatically when you create a state-driven or command-driven module -- type a name in the Named Set name field in the New module dialog. This creates a named set with the name you specify.
