Create a named set
- Navigate to Setup (System Configuration/Setup
- Right-click Named Sets.
- Click New Named Set.
- Rename NamedSet1 to a new name. Named sets are case-sensitive. They may be defined using uppercase or lowercase letters, but all future references to the state must be as originally defined.
- Double-click the new named set, or right-click, and then select Properties
- Add a description in the Description field.
- Click Add to open the Add State dialog.
- Type the name of the first state and click OK.
- Select a specific value for the state, if desired.

Repeat steps 7 through 9 for each named state you want to add.
Note:You can create a maximum of 255 states in a named set.

Click
Close to save the set and close the dialog.
Note:You can also create named sets automatically when you create a state-driven or command-driven module -- type a name in the Named Set name field in the New module dialog. This creates a named set with the name you specify.
