Introduction to the DeltaV Excel Add-in
Read process data and the call status
Select two adjacent cells in your workbook. The cells can be in the same row or the same column.
Select the
Add-Ins
tab.
From the
Menu Commands
group, click
DeltaV
and then select
Runtime Data
→
Configure Read Function
.
Enter (or browse to) the
Parameter Path
to the DeltaV parameter you want to read.
Note
The DeltaV OPC .NET Server service must be running to be able to browse to the parameter.
Click
Paste parameter path to the left of result
if you want the parameter path to be displayed next to the value.
Select the
Data Type
for the specified DeltaV parameter.
Select the
Status Type
. This is the data type of the returned status for the specified DeltaV parameter.
Click
OK
.
