The WTS function block calculates the entropy of water for a specified temperature at saturation conditions. The calculation is limited to a temperature range of 32 °F to 704 °F (0 °C to 373.3 °C).
The block calculations are based on The International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam (IAPWS) Revised Release on the IAPWS Industrial Formulation 1997 for the Thermodynamic Properties of Water and Steam.
The ranges of valid block input values mentioned in this section are guidelines, not absolute limits. If your inputs are outside the guidelines, the value used for calculation is limited and the status is set to Uncertain.
