The Tag I/O (TAGIO) function block is a generic Tag block that converts to an appropriate Tag block type (TAGAI, TAGAO, TAGDI, or TAGDO) when you assign it to a Control Tag in DeltaV Explorer or Control Studio. Prior to the assignment, the TAGIO block shows only an output parameter (OUT) by default.
