DeltaV Zones

DeltaV Zones uses a combination of hardware and software to connect separate DeltaV systems (zones). The benefits of connecting DeltaV systems include:

Operation functions can be performed on any connected DeltaV system from a single workstation.
Control strategies can exchange information between systems.
The DeltaV systems can be administered and configured separately.
DeltaV upgrades can be applied separately to each connected system.

Note

DeltaV Zones, as discussed in this section, is not related to the DeltaV Zone 1 and Zone 2 I/O cards or installations in hazardous locations.
