In Control Studio online, dialogs that are used to modify parameters, such as the Mode Properties dialog, automatically launch the Electronic Signature dialog when electronic signatures are configured for the parameter. However, in DeltaV Operate only objects inserted with the following tools launch the Electronic Signatures dialog:
When an operator clicks a button or presses ENTER after writing to a parameter that is subject to an electronic signature, the Electronic Signature dialog opens. The parameter is not written until the required signature is provided. The following image shows the Electronic Signature dialog that opens in Control Studio online when a Confirm and Verify signature is required for a parameter write. The appearance of this dialog varies depending upon the signature requirement.
