A signature policy is inherited by an instance of the class; however, the inheritance can be overridden and removed at the instance level. To override or remove an inheritance on an instance, select Electronic Signatures from the instance's context menu, deselect Enable Class Signature Policy, and browse to a new policy, or leave the Name field blank, and click OK. Be sure to download the Setup Data after making changes.

If an instance does not override the class signature policy, the instance's policy follows the class if the class's policy changes.
