TIME function

Returns the current Local or UTC time as an Epoch time value (the number of seconds since midnight, January 1, 1972).

Syntax:

'external reference' := TIME('Named Set:Type');

Where the Named Set is $time_format and the available types are Local and UTC.

Note

Assign the output of this value directly to an output parameter to have it update at one second intervals. If you set an OUT value in a Calc block, then wire the output to a parameter, it updates every 64 seconds.

Example:

'/PARAM2.CV' := time('$time_format:UTC');

The above example defines the current value of PARAM2 as the UTC Epoch time.
