The DeltaV System supports the following alarm types:
Process alarms — These are module alarms (including Smart Switch modules)
Hardware alarms — DeltaV nodes (controllers, workstations, logic solvers)
Device alarms — HART and Fieldbus alarms and alarms from external assets
