Configure I/O cards automatically

If you have cards connected to the controller, you can configure them automatically using the auto-sense feature:

  1. Navigate to the I/O subsystem for a controller (System Configuration/Physical Network/Control Network/controller).
  2. Right-click I/O.
  3. Click Auto-sense I/O cards.
    Note

    Autosensing recognizes the I/O cards that are physically connected to the subsystem and includes their type and slot number in the database. Autosensing also generates channels and device tags in the database.
