Install the Continuous Historian Data Conversion utility

To install the Continuous Historian Data Conversion utility, complete the following steps:

  1. Insert the DeltaV installation disk #1 in the drive of the computer where the Legacy Historian is installed.
  2. Select Other DeltaV Products from the DeltaV Install dialog.
    Note

    If the DeltaV Install dialog does not appear when you insert the DeltaV installation disk #4 in the drive, run the Autorun\DVAutorun.exe file on the disk.

  3. Click the Continuous Historian Data Conversion button on the list of other programs to install, and then follow the prompts.
    During installation, a new folder, Program Files\HistorianDataConversion, is created. This folder contains the Continuous Historian Data Conversion utility and other files.
