To avoid bumps in status from a switchover (whether during a CIOC upgrade or during operation) wait until the standby CIOC's Redundancy subsystem goes from Status = Failed Component to Status = Good. Switching over sooner may bump the I/O value Status (.ST) but should not affect the Value (.PV).
