The following table describes the contents of the columns in the I/O Configuration application:
Path |
In the Control Strategies view, the path shows the area, module, block and parameter. In the Network view, the path shows the controller, I/O card and channel. |
Type |
For parameters, type indicates the parameter type. |
Device Tag |
Device Tag is the name associated with a specific device. The system provides a default name for each channel in the form: NodeModuleChannel, for example, CTLR1C01P1. You can use the default name or change it. |
Referenced By |
Shows the path to the module parameter or block parameter that references this Device Tag. |
Enabled |
Indicates whether the channel has been enabled. |
Description |
Shows the description specified in the Properties dialog of the parameter or channel. |
Node Assignment |
Shows the controller associated with a remote I/O node. |
