When creating datalinks to the module parameters A_* (for example, A_PV, A_ERROR, and so on) on an operator graphic, use the Data Link Stamper tool and set the Data Entry Type to None (the default). This prevents the parameter from being written to by an operator through the graphic and is the desired behavior. Do not use the DeltaV Data Entry Expert on a data link to these parameters.
