When a database is imported, any duplicate equipment IDs are renumbered. The equipment that is being imported can be renumbered if equipment already exists within the database. If two or more users are working concurrently on the same database, segment the equipment into specific IDs. For example, number tanks 0-99, number agitators 101-199, and so on. Then, when the databases are combined through an import, each piece of equipment will retain its correct ID and your logic will reference the correct IDs.
