The figure shows how the example layout appears when configured in DeltaV Explorer. To prevent the figure from becoming too complicated and too large, only one logic solver (and logic solver card) have been configured in each controller. SLS1 is in CTRLR1, SLS2 is in CTRLR2, and so on. Each logic solver has only one SIS module assigned to it.
Note that the hierarchy does not include any indication of physical rings, SISNet Repeaters, or SIS Network bridges. In the example, controllers and logic solvers are not expanded. The structure under these items is identical to earlier releases of DeltaV software.
