Configure SIS module alarms

SIS module alarms are configured in the same way as control modules.

  1. With the SIS module open in Control Studio, right-click in the Alarm View and select Add.

    The Alarm Properties dialog appears. The only alarm types in the drop-down list are SIS alarm types.

  2. Select an SIS alarm type and priority.
  3. Enter or browse to an alarm parameter.

    If you select or enter a bitstring parameter such as SIF_ALERTS, the Mask button appears on the Alarm Properties dialog.

  4. Click the Mask button to open the Alarm Mask dialog.
  5. On the Alarm Mask dialog, select the bits you want to activate this alarm.

    If any of the conditions you select become active, the alarm becomes active.

  6. Close the Alarm Mask dialog.
  7. Close the Alarm Properties dialog.
