SLS 1508 SIS Simulate > Moving SLS 1508 SIS configurations between simulation and real systems > Moving the SLS 1508 configuration from the simulation system to the real system

Export the simulated SLS 1508 SIS configuration

On the simulation system:

  1. Make sure all SIMULATE and SIMULATE_D parameters in the configuration are disabled.
  2. Make sure the ProfessionalPLUS workstation and all Application Stations are aliased to controllers in the real system.
  3. Verify that the configuration works as desired.
  4. Record SIS-related CRCs.
  5. Export the SIS Network subsystem.

Save the export file. If your SIS configuration needs to change in the future you can import the configuration back into your simulation system and make the necessary changes, then export the modified configuration for import into the real system.

You do not need to export SIS modules or their containing areas. SIS modules and areas are exported as a part of the SIS Network subsystem.

As a result of the above steps you should have one export file for the SIS Network subsystem.

Note

Exporting the entire SIS Network is the recommended method. You can export and import SIS Network Domains, but if you have System Global Secure Parameters you must be careful. If the configuration is not stable, exporting and importing domains may cause System Global Publishers to move between slots which changes the CRCs.
