Downloading a logic solver may result in a value and/or status change of non-secure parameters. The effect on production depends on what the references for the non-secure parameters are used for.
Initiate a Logic Solver download from the Logic Solver under SIS Network. Downloading a Logic Solver sends the configuration information from this Logic Solver to the Logic Solver card (physical or simulated) that the Logic Solver is assigned to.
All downloads to a Logic Solver are total downloads. Partial downloads are not allowed. A Logic Solver card cannot be downloaded independent of the Logic Solver. You can download a Logic Solver only by selecting it under the SIS Network. You cannot download multiple Logic Solvers at the same time. The steps to download are the same whether the Logic Solver is assigned to a physical Logic Solver card or to the ProfessionalPLUS workstation.
Downloads to Logic Solvers are matching downloads. Values of certain parameters are preserved on download to prevent process disruptions.
The download states for Logic Solvers differ from other DeltaV system downloadable items in the following ways:

Blue triangle - The configuration
has changed from the configuration currently in the Logic Solver.
Note that blue triangles on Logic Solvers do not roll up to the SIS Network because you cannot download the SIS Network. You can only download individual Logic Solvers.

Yellow triangle overlay - The
Logic Solver does not have a configuration.
