The environmental specifications for normal operation of DeltaV SIS devices are:

  • Operating temperature: -40 °C to 70 °C (-40 °F to 158 °F) (1) (2)
  • Storage temperature: -40°C to 85°C (-40°F to 185°F)
  • Relative humidity: 5% to 95% non-condensing
  • Shock: 10 g half-sine wave for 11 ms
  • Vibration: 1 mm peak-to-peak from 5 to 16 Hz; 0.5g from 16 to 150 Hz
  • Airborne contaminants: Severity level G3
  • IP 20 rating
  • Electromagnetic compatibility: Per EN61326-1, Criteria A and Namur NE21

(2) Mounting the SIS Relay module or the Voltage Monitor on a vertical DIN rail requires derating the operating temperature range to -40 °C to 60 °C (-40 °F to 140 °F).
