The DeltaV OPC Alarms and Events Server runs on the ProfessionalPLUS workstation or on an Application Station. OPC Alarms and Events client applications can run on the ProfessionPLUS, Application Station or any other workstation connected to a network. Like all OPC applications, COM and DCOM are necessary networking elements.
Client applications must be written in C++.
