Remove Internet Information Services (IIS) - Optional

After uninstalling DeltaV Web Server, you can either remove the Internet Information Services (IIS) role or leave it enabled.

To remove the IIS role, please complete the following steps:

  1. Open Server Manager and go to Server Manager → Roles.
  2. Right click Roles, select Remove Roles.
  3. Select Next on the Before You Begin window (if displayed).
  4. Deselect the Web Server (IIS) checkbox.
  5. Click Next on the Remove Server Roles window.
  6. Select Remove on the Confirm Removal Selections window.
  7. After the Remove Roles Wizard completes, click .
  8. Reboot the Application Station.
  9. After the Application Station is rebooted, log on to Windows.
  10. After the Resume Configuration Wizard completes, click Close.
  11. Go to Server Manager → Features.
  12. Right click Features, select Remove Features.
  13. Deselect the Windows Process Activation Service checkbox.
  14. Click Next on the Select Features window.
  15. Select Remove on the Confirm Removal Selections window.
  16. After the Remove Features Wizard completes, click Close.
  17. Reboot the Application Station.
  18. After the Application Station is rebooted, log on to Windows.
  19. After the Resume Configuration Wizard completes, click Close.
  20. Close the Server Manager window (File → Exit).
