Understanding the Procedure as PFC and Procedure as Table screens

The Procedure as PFC and Procedure as Table screens provide the most complete environment for monitoring batches. By moving the splitter bars, you display three methods of viewing batch:

• Hierarchical Step List
• PFC View
• Table View

  The Procedure as Table button is disabled by default to conserve CPU resources. If this screen is needed, please call the Emerson Global Service Center or your local Field Service Office/Local Business Partner.

You can perform the following functions from the PFC and Table screens:

• Start a batch.
• Stop a batch.
• Hold a batch.
• Restart a batch.
• Abort a batch.
• Change the batch mode from Automatic to Manual and back again.
• Active step change.
