Changing commissioning behavior in DeltaV Device Commissioner

Auto-commissioning policies determine several aspects of commissioning behavior in DeltaV Device Commissioner, including which phases appear as parts of the commissioning process. Auto-commissioning policies are defined and selected for use in I/O Studio.

If you want to change the active auto-commissioning policy, click the name of the active policy at the bottom left of DeltaV Device Commissioner. On the Browse for an Auto-Commissioning Policy dialog that appears, select a policy and click Select.

If the currently active auto-commissioning policy allows modification of commissioning mode defaults in DeltaV Device Commissioner, the following control appears at the bottom of DeltaV Device Commissioner:



If DeltaV Device Commissioner is not currently performing commissioning, you can use this control to start auto-commissioning. You can also click the settings button on the right side of the control to enable or disable automatic execution of one or more commissioning phases.
