Exporting Smart Commissioning reports for use on non-DeltaV machines

DeltaV Device Commissioner creates reports, such as the HART Device Commissioning Summary and Automated Loop Test Summary, in XML format. In order to view the reports as created, a user must have the stylesheets installed with DeltaV in [installed drive]:\DeltaV\DVData\PrintToXML\SmartCommissioning\ on standard DeltaV workstations. On remote workstations, install the files in DeltaV\DVData\RemoteSystems\{GUID}\PrintToXML\SmartCommissioning.

Perform the following steps to export Smart Commissioning reports so that a user who does not have a similar DeltaV installation can read them:

1. When creating the report, before clicking Save on the Save dialog box, check the Open report after saving XML box at the lower left. When the report is complete, it will open in Internet Explorer.
2. In Internet Explorer, use the Print dialog box to save the report as a PDF. Common options include Microsoft Print to PDF.
