Using the DeltaV Device Commissioner application
Glossary Terms
- AMS User Configuration
- The configuration template that DeltaV Device Commissioner uses
to configure this device. Refer to the AMS documentation for information about
device configuration templates.
- Assigned to Controller

- Binding Progress

- Bound By
- The DeltaV user whose session was active when DeltaV bound the
device. If you sense a bound device, DeltaV checks all binding steps. If all
binding requirements are met, the device remains bound but the Date Bound and
Bound By columns are cleared. If any binding requirements are unmet, DeltaV
Device Commissioner clears the bound state of the device and moves the device
to Ready for Binding.

device.
