When you use the DeltaV Device Commissioner application to sense
devices under a CIOC, the application performs the following steps:
Senses all CHARMs under
the CIOC.
Identifies all
HART-capable CHARMs.
Senses HART devices
connected to HART-capable CHARMs.
Note
If a HART-capable CHARM is already configured and is not
configured for HART Analog Input, the application does not sense devices
connected to that CHARM.
