Installation notes
- The Ethernet I/O Card (EIOC) is used to easily and securely integrate TCP/IP-based data into a DeltaV system.
- The simplex or redundant Ethernet I/O Card mounts in the Dual Universal Carrier. A simplex Ethernet I/O Card can install in either slot of the carrier. If a simplex EIOC is used, cover the open slot with a protection cover.
- The DIN rail-mounted Dual Universal Carrier holds simplex or redundant EIOCs. The Dual Universal Carrier provides redundant 24 VDC power to the EIOC.
- The EIOC communicates with M and S-series controllers.
