Installation notes
- The Simplex H1 with Integrated Power Terminal Block is recommended to provide terminations for field wiring for the simplex H1 card with Integrated Power.
- The Redundant H1 with Integrated Power Terminal Block is recommended to provide terminations for field wiring for the redundant H1 card with Integrated Power.
- Fieldbus segments must be terminated at each end. The H1 with integrated power terminal blocks contain an integrated terminator for each segment.
- Power to the segment is short circuit protected.
- Power to the segment is lost if a simplex H1 card with Integrated Power is removed from the carrier. This means that in an application that uses a simplex H1 card with Integrated Power, devices acting as the Backup Link Active Scheduler cannot maintain the schedule if the card is removed.
- This card requires an S-series controller.
