If you designate one device master as the default master, you can
configure an auto-commissioning policy so that DeltaV Device Commissioner
creates device placeholders based on that master. Perform the following steps
to make a device master the default in I/O Studio:
- Double-click a master in
I/O Library.
- Click
Manage defaults on the
Defaults menu of the
Tools tab.
- On the
Manage Default Device Master dialog that appears, select the
master you want to make the default, then click
Apply.
