Use Recipe Studio to create, modify, or delete recipes for your system. You can create reusable recipe templates and put them in the library, or you can create unique recipes for use on specific equipment in specific plant areas. Recipe Studio has multiple window panes you use for defining the recipe. They are:
From the Diagram View, you create the steps of a recipe. From the Parameter View, you define specific characteristics of the objects on the diagram, such as steps, or transitions. From the Hierarchy View, you see all the components of the recipe in a hierarchical display.
In Recipe Studio, you can edit and perform many actions on the objects in the diagram. You can right-click an object to see a menu with the most common commands available.
When you create a new recipe, you start by defining the algorithm in the Diagram View. The changes you make in the Diagram View as you build the algorithm (in a procedural function chart) are reflected in the Parameter View and the Hierarchy View. Then, you can use the Parameter View to add recipe parameters and assign them as the source for step parameters. Then, you can use the Formula View in the top-level recipe to create sets of values (for example, formula values) for the recipe parameters. Use the Hierarchy View to navigate the recipe structure you create.
