Parameter view in Recipe Studio

Use the Parameter View to define the characteristics of recipe parameters, and to set the source or value of step parameters. The Parameter View displays the parameters' name, value, type and origin. You choose to set the origin of a step parameter as follows:

• Value - you set the default value.

• Defer - you set the source as one of the recipe parameters.

• Operator - the operator is prompted for the value and may choose the default value that you set.

You can use filtering to view only the parameters you want. You can select:

• Phase Parameters -- This filters the phase parameters by category: Phase Input and Phase Report. A check in the box will show that type of parameter in the view window.
• Recipe Parameters -- This filters the recipe parameters by category: Process Input, Process Output, and Process Parameter. A check in the box will show that type of parameter in the view window.

To track the level of the recipe for which you are viewing parameters, right-click anywhere within the Parameter View, and then select one of the following from the context menu:

• Show Recipe Parameters -- displays the recipe level parameters for the current Recipe.
• Show Selected Object Parameters -- displays the parameters for the item selected on the Diagram View.
• Show Parameters For All Levels -- displays all parameters, recipe and step levels, for the current recipe.
