Select and upgrade I/O modules

To upgrade I/O modules, first select the controller and then select the I/O modules to upgrade.

To select and upgrade I/O modules

Select I/O modules from the drop-down list in the opening window of the DeltaV Controller and I/O Upgrade Utility and click the Next button.
Select the controller node for the I/O modules that you want to upgrade and click the Next button.
Select the I/O module that you want to upgrade and click the Next button. By default, upgrade files are located in the Upgrade File Path specified (C:\DeltaV\ctl). Click the Browse button to locate upgrade files stored in another location.

WARNING!
Clicking the Next button at this point starts the upgrade process. Be sure that you want to perform this operation because once you select the Next button, you cannot reverse the operation.
