The alarm type defines a set of
characteristics that determine how an alarm appears on the display (such as Low
Alarm, Low Low Alarm, or High Alarm).

A message associated with the alarm. The
format of the alarm message is determined by the alarm type.

|
An icon indicating what kind of alarm help is
available.

available alarm help, but the user has the privilege to write help for that
alarm. Click the icon to open the Alarm Help application and enter information

No icon indicates there is no available alarm help and the
user does not have the privilege to write any information.
