Batch states in Campaign Manager

Batches can be in a number of different states, such as DEFINED, ACTIVE-READY, ACTIVE-RUNNING, and COMPLETE (NORMAL). Only batches that are in the state DEFINED can be added to the Batch List in the Batch Operator Interface.

When a batch is listed in the Batch Executive, the batch state in the Campaign Manager is prefixed by the word ACTIVE. For example, when a batch is running, the state in Campaign Manager is ACTIVE-RUNNING. When it is complete, but still listed in the Batch Operator Interface, the state name in Campaign Manager is ACTIVE-COMPLETE. Once it is removed from the Batch List in the Batch Operator Interface, the state name in Campaign Manager is COMPLETE (NORMAL), COMPLETE (ABNORMAL) or COMPLETE (NOT STARTED).

Batches that complete normally can be removed from the Batch Executive using the Campaign Manager. Such batches can be set to be automatically removed from the Batch Executive's batch list after a specified period of time.

You can change the display color of batch states using the Campaign Manager Options dialog.
