LSNBs are installed on LSNs. The LSNBs connect to each other, creating the GSN. The LSNB publishes secure parameter data from CSLSs on its local safety network to the GSN. Other LSNBs on the GSN publish secure data used by CSLSs on their LSNs.
CSLSs do not all have their data published globally. There may be some that do, and others that send data only to other CSLSs on the same LSN.
The following figure shows an example of the data flow of secure parameter SECUREPARAM1 in CSLS1 that is referenced by REFPARAM1 in CSLS2.
The database maps SECUREPARAM1 because it is referenced by a CSLS in another LSN. SECUREPARAM1 moves down LSN1 to LSNB1. LSNB1 publishes SECUREPARAM1 to the GSN. LSNB2 receives SECUREPARAM1 and publishes it to LSN2 where it is received by REFPARAM1 in CSLS2.
