The Dual Universal Safety Carrier that houses the LSNB has both primary and secondary Ethernet Isolation Ports (EIP) for the LSN and GSN connections. You must connect the two LSN networks to the bottom ports of each EIP and the two GSN networks to the top ports of each EIP. These ports are not interchangeable. The figure shows the Dual Universal Carrier with Ethernet Isolation Ports installed. The two lower ports labeled Primary Network Port and Secondary Network Port are the Local Safety Network connections.
