LSNB secure parameters and references

The LSNB and CSLS support both Boolean secure parameters and non-Boolean secure parameters. Boolean secure parameters are Boolean with status. Non-Boolean parameters can be configured as either floating point with status or 32-bit unsigned integer with status.

Secure parameter references have the same data types as secure parameter. When a secure parameter reference is configured it must be the same data type as the secure parameter referenced. As you configure secure parameter references, the database maps the references and keeps track of the number of the published secure parameters per CSLS and LSNB. You can reference any secure parameter in the system and the mapping is performed by the database. The only action required is to download the LSNBs and the nodes referencing the secure parameters after all modules have been assigned to nodes.
