Version Control Configuration dialog

Note

During a DeltaV Upgrade the authorization checkboxes and Signers buttons (for recipes and SIS modules) are disabled. If SIS is enabled, the functional test recording checkbox and Signers button is also disabled.

Important

To determine if changes in the configuration are the result of the upgrade, enable Version Control when the Version Control Configuration dialog opens during the upgrade. If Version Control is enabled, changes that result from the upgrade are labeled as such in the Version Control History.

Enable Version Control: Establishes configuration version control for this DeltaV system.
Enable or Disable Version Control for DeltaV Displays: Enables or disables the version control for DeltaV displays.
Recipes must be authorized before downloading: Enables or disables the Recipe Authorization function. This requires Version Control to be installed and enabled.
Enable Version Control for DeltaV SIS: Enables or disables version control for DeltaV SIS modules.
SIS Modules must be authorized before downloading: Enables or disables SIS module authorization. This requires Version Control to be installed and Version Control for objects to be enabled.
Enable Functional Test Recording for SIS Modules: Enables or disables recording of SIS module functional testing. This requires Version Control to be installed and Version Control for DeltaV SIS objects to be enabled.
Show Documents Folder: Enables or disables version control for documents.

Important

When enabling or disabling Version Control, the SureService Registration utility cannot be running. Run the registration utility either before or after enabling/disabling Version Control.
