Disconnecting applications aborts any actions the application was processing. Before disconnecting an application, first make sure the application is not currently open.
To disconnect an application that has not been properly closed
Double-click the Database Connections tool.
From the list of applications, click the application you want to disconnect.
Note
Make sure the application is closed or the database can be corrupted.
