This topic explains how to create a standard using the ribbon's
New command. Alternatively, you can use a
property's Diamond context menu to create a new standard.
In the
Library Explorer pane, select the
Standards root folder.
On the ribbon's
Home tab, in the
Graphics group, click
New and select the desired type of standard.
The new standard is added to the list of standards in the
document editing area.
Rename the standard.
In the
Graphics Configuration pane, configure the
Value.
Tip:
When creating a private string standard that will be used to open an
application, enter the directory path to that application. If the application to be opened is not digitally
signed, the private string must have the command argument,
NoSignatureCheck, appended to
the end of the directory path.
When creating a private string standard for a SQL query, the value is the
SQL query.
For rules pertaining to creating the system whitelist standard, refer to
the topic, System whitelist.
(Optional) Enter a
Title and
Description for this standard.
