Use the Status parameter, port statistics, communication statistics, and device information to diagnose Profibus devices.
Status
Status information is available at the card, port, device, slot, and signal level. Select any level in the Profibus hierarchy and read the value for the Status parameter in the Contents pane.
Port Statistics
The Port Statistics command provides a broad view of communication activity on the port. Right-click the port, and then select Display Port Statistics.
Clicking the Reset Stats button resets all values to 0 and makes it easier to read the statistics.
Device Statistics
Communication statistics and detailed device information is available for each device. Right-click the device, and then select Display Communication Statistics or Display Device Information.
