Assign to classic I/O

  1. Select the block that you want to assign to the I/O.
  2. With the block selected, right-click, and then select Assign I/O → To Signal Tag.
  3. In the Device Tag field, enter the name of the I/O reference or click Browse.
  4. Select the parameter from the list.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Download the module to the assigned device.
