Delete a controller with commissioned SLS 1508 Logic Solver cards

This procedure assumes a Logic Solver is commissioned to a card in the I/O subsystem of the controller to be deleted.

You cannot delete a controller that has commissioned Logic Solvers running under it. If the controller to be deleted contains commissioned Logic Solvers, you will be unable to communicate with the Logic Solvers until you decommission them, assign them to a Logic Solver card under another controller, and then recommission them. A download of the affected controllers and Logic Solvers is required.

  1. Decommission all Logic Solvers under the controller to be deleted.
  2. Unassign the decommissioned Logic Solvers from the Logic Solver card.
  3. Decommission the controller.
  4. Delete the controller.
