Saturated Temperature (TSS) function block

The TSS function block calculates the steam temperature at saturation at a given steam pressure. The block calculations apply to saturated steam. The calculation is limited to a pressure range of –14.607 to 3185.4 psig (6.1121×10-4 to 22.064 MPa).

The block calculations are based on The International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam (IAPWS) Revised Release on the IAPWS Industrial Formulation 1997 for the Thermodynamic Properties of Water and Steam.

Note

The ranges of valid block input values mentioned in this section are guidelines, not absolute limits. If your inputs are outside the guidelines, the values used for calculation are limited to the IF97 boundary values and the block status is set to Uncertain.

The following figure shows the internal components of the TSS function block.
