Redundant CHARMs I/O Cards (CIOCs) can be migrated online (while the plant is in production) when going from CIOC to CIOC2.
You must migrate the second CIOC in a redundant pair after migrating the first card. That is, do not migrate one card in a redundant pair and leave the other to migrate at another time. Ongoing run-time redundancy is not fully supported when there is a CIOC type mismatch, specifically when the CIOC2 is active.
