Defining a CHARM involves setting the CHARM's properties such as its class and type in the DeltaV Explorer. Defining a CHARM automatically enables it. After a CHARM has been defined, it can be assigned to an S-series controller.
Select the CHARM and click Properties to access the Properties dialog.
