Import a CA-signed certificate and assign it to the client
To assign a CA-signed certificate to the server, you must send a
certificate signing request to a third-party certificate authority. After
receiving the signed-certificate from the CA, import it to the server. The
DeltaV\DVData\Import-Export folder is the default
folder for importing certificates.
Select the
OPC UA Client in the DeltaV Explorer
hierarchy.
Right-click
Properties.
Click the
Certificate tab.
Click
Import.
The software displays the Open dialog.
Select the .pfx certificate files or browse to the correct
location.
The software assigns the certificates to the client.
Trusted certificates are in .cer or .der format.
